Studio QA Manager in Hanoi

Job Description

You will manage Quality Assurance Department of one of Gameloft studios in Vietnam, control the QA organization and process for different game production programs in the studio to ensure that games are delivered on time and totally bug free and QA teams have sufficient competencies to meet production needs and requirements.


Your responsibilities include:


- Manage, control, coordinate QA process, organization, tools, methods, documentation used by QA teams for the assigned production activities; keep and provide expertise regarding QA-related matters;

- Organize, allocate QA resources among programs, in line with production priorities and needs; plan, forecast resource in efficient manner, and prevent resource issue;

- Define, implement optimization solutions, quality standards, and targets for QA staff at all levels;

- Follow up production status, ensuring product quality and on-time delivery of all projects from QA side;

- Anticipate potential QA issues and implement proper solutions;

- Actively propose initiatives to improve QA process and working environment;

- Be the key contact of QA in the studio for Studio managers, Head Quarter, other studios and departments; ensure efficient and smooth communication regarding QA planning, resource, process and strategy;

- Supervise QA staff at all levels, inspiring them motivation and sense of responsibility, making them comply with the company’s regulations;

- Join in recruitment activities;

- Administer discipline, recognition and reward, promotion, compensation and benefits for QA teams, in coordination with HR department;

- Organize team evaluation, training, documentation for testers to constantly improve themselves;

- Work with other departments (Producer, Programmer, Game Designer, Artist and others) to have bet communication, coordination, understanding for efficient cooperation between teams;

- Report to Studio Manager and Vietnam QA Manager.


Job Requirement

- At least 03-year of working experience in similar QA management level in software or game industry;

- Hands-on experience in game industry is a plus;

- Good knowledge and command of QA process and testing tool system;

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

- Rigorous, very well-organized, result-oriented;

- Excellent leadership and people management: you are able to manage a large-scale team and to motivate them for best commitment and performance;

- Pro-active in taking initiatives;

- Open-minded;

- Excellent English (both written and spoken);

- At least Bachelor degree in management, or IT, software or related area.
